EPA Consent Order with DuPont, March 2009
This 2009 Consent Order (a negotiated agreement between the government and a private company) revised a 2006 Consent Order which established an Action Level of 0.50 PPB for C-8 found in drinking water in the vicinity of the Washington Works facility. The new Order lowered the threshold to 0.40 PPB for public and private water systems near the facility.
